dale wrote on Tuesday, January 06, 2015 (PST):It all depends on your ultimate goal; If you were looking to make a killing at the next big antique tractor consignment auction, then that common little Ford probably wasn't the best choice no matter how great it turned out! BUT if you were looking to restore a simple tractor that is easy to find, it's parts are reasonably priced and plentiful and that when you are finished fixing it up you have a great tractor that can actually be used like it was meant to be, all without fear of damaging insanely expensive or irreplaceable tractor parts or trying to find obsolete implements that attach in uniquely bizarre ways, then you probably couldn't have picked a better tractor to restore! GOOD JOB!!

dale wrote on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 (PST):Well, it all depends on your definition-if you are talking strictly a dollar based "value" it'll never out perform a M-M UDLX, an Oil-Pull or even a lowly Waterloo Boy, BUT if you define value as the actual usefulness of a tractor, THEN that simple, basic Ford will run tight little circles around pretty much every machine that came before it.
